Houston is an important city for the discussion about science and culture. It is the home of three Center for Science & Culture Fellows — Bruce Gordon, Nancy Pearcey, and John Mark Reynolds — and a good number of supporters, subscribers, and other friends. It is the center of operations for an active Chapter of the Science & Culture Network, generous with time and effort, that has recently hosted Paul Nelson, Douglas Axe, and Michael Behe.

Needless to say, we are thinking of you all, and are grateful for what we’ve heard so far as to your safety. Your friends at Discovery Institute want to express our concern and our urgent hope that you are comfortable and secure, in your person and your property. With other residents of the Houston area, you are very much in our thoughts and prayers at this intensely trying time.

If you have a moment to let us know how you are doing, we would thank you for the update.
