The science of intelligent design typically focuses on details, “steel-hard facts,” as Douglas Axe puts it. Sometimes, if carried to an extreme, that can be a fault. Now and again, therefore, it’s good to take a step back and ponder the biggest picture of life and its wonder, beauty, and charm.
