Origin of Life and Information — Some Common Myths

A common attempt to overcome the need for information in the first cell is to equate information to a reduction in entropy. Read More ›

Fingerprints of an Intelligent Programmer: The “Entropy = Information” Mistake

Note that this is not an argument based on, “We don’t know what can write computer code, therefore God did it.” Read More ›

Evolutionary Informatics: Marks, Dembski, and Ewert Demonstrate the Limits of Darwinism

As the authors rigorously show, producing anything of significant complexity requires that knowledge of the outcomes be programmed into the search routines. Read More ›

New Peer-Reviewed Paper Challenges Darwinian Evolution

Over recent months, papers challenging key elements of Darwinian theory — the kind of papers which are supposed not to exist — have increasingly been slipping through the net and finding their way into the peer-reviewed literature. One such paper, “Is gene duplication a viable explanation for the origination of biological information and complexity?,” authored by Joseph Esfandier Hannon Bozorgmeh and published online last week in the journal, Complexity, challenges the standard gene duplication/divergence model regarding the origin of evolutionary novelty. The abstract reports, All life depends on the biological information encoded in DNA with which to synthesize and regulate various peptide sequences required by an organism’s cells. Hence, an evolutionary model accounting for the diversity of life needs to Read More ›

Peer-Reviewed Paper Investigating Origin of Information Endorses Irreducible Complexity and Intelligent Design

A peer-reviewed paper by University of Leeds professor Andy McIntosh in the International Journal of Design & Nature and Ecodynamics expressly endorses intelligent design (ID) via an exploration of a key question in ID thinking. Read More ›
