The Summer Seminars on Intelligent Design are remarkable in several ways. They are a life-changing intellectual experience for undergraduates and graduate students, as you study the science of ID and its implications in a way you almost certainly won’t have the opportunity to do at your own college or university.
They are a way to defy and strike back at the thought control and speech suppression that are on the rise on campuses and in the culture generally, especially in the United States. This is the science your professors would fear to teach about objectively.
Perhaps most remarkable of all, the Summer Seminars are FREE! That’s right, through the generosity of our supporters, Discovery Institute is able to offer these 9 days in Seattle, July 5 to 13, 2019, at no charge to accepted applicants. We cover housing, materials, most meals — even travel in cases where there is a need for assistance.
What’s the Catch?
The only catch is that there’s a fast-approaching deadline for applications. You must apply by April 2. It’s not difficult to do; find all the relevant information and an application here.

There are two tracks focused respectively on biology and cosmology, and science and society. Graduates have consistently told us that one of the highlights of the Summer Seminars is meeting fellow students who come from around the world. Conversations in and outside of class are amazing.

Someday, the students who attend the Summer Seminars will be teaching in the program, as researchers in design science themselves.
