Today’s New York Times has a surprisingly good story on Christian philosopher Alvin Plantinga. It highlights his important new book, Where the Conflict Really Lies: Science, Religion, and Naturalism. I am reading the book now, and it is characteristically superb. (As a rule, I read everything Plantinga writes.)
I had the privilege of discussing the book a bit with Plantinga at the science and faith conference at Franciscan University of Steubenville a couple of weeks ago, and am planning a multi-part review of the book here at ENV after the first of the year. In the meantime, it’s recommended reading. The only problem is that the Times story seems to have created a supply problem, since it’s now listed as “temporarily out of stock.” Fortunately, it’s still available on Kindle.
