An email correspondent sends along this incredible video and observes, “The next time someone tells you that our spines are poorly designed, just point them to Damien.” That is, Damien Walters, British gymnast, tumbler and movie stunt double. Watch Damien and then ask yourself: What about the spine, eh? Send it back to the factory along with the human eye and fire the engineer who designed it, as Richard Dawkins harrumphs?

Or is it possible that our backs turn achy on us because we don’t use and exercise them properly? Any designed product you can think of is capable of being abused.
